What You Need For This Position
10+ years experience in Civil Litigation
Strong experience with Insurance Defense
Passed CA Bar
What You Will Be Doing - Responsibility may vary based on experience:
Handling approx 50-75 files
Overseeing 2-3 Associates
Independent case handling / mediations
Taking and Defending depos
Prepare discovery and respond to requests (Admissions, Disclosures, Interrogatories, Depos, Orders, etc.)
Attend and manage hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings
Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
Effectively communicate with clients and the managing attorney(s) to understand the clients concerns and provide sound legal advice
Insurance including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and a flexible spending account
