Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our industrial construction team. The primary objective of the role is to provide accurate cost estimation for industrial construction projects in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure accurate cost estimation.
Identify potential cost savings opportunities and provide recommendations to project managers.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials costs, and labor costs to ensure accurate cost estimation.
Prepare and present detailed cost estimates to senior management and clients as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating for industrial construction.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Nice to have skills in Commercial, Industrial, Heavy Civil, Site Civil, and Underground Utility Construction.
