About The Company Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for managing and reviewing different aspects of the closed-end funds tax compliance work.
Responsibilities
Review federal, state, and international income tax estimates and tax returns for partnerships and corporations
Review book-to-tax security adjustments, tax allocations, state apportionment and withholding tax computation, and FDAP withholding tax for foreign investors
Prepare quarterly tax projections for funds and tax provisions for SPV corporations
Work with outside tax administrators and accounting firms for releasing the K1s and filing of all tax returns
Liaise with investor relations on tax questions and issues from investors
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
8-12 years of tax experience in public accounting or at a private asset management firm
