Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team at Bures & Associates. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong background in overseeing and leading teams. Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to deadlines.
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.
Conduct complex financial analysis and provide strategic guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and business advisory services.
Review and approve financial statements, tax returns, and other deliverables prepared by the team.
Collaborate with partners and senior management to develop and execute firm strategies, including client acquisition and retention initiatives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed advice and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax, compilation, and advisory services.
Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team of professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Experience with Quickbooks, Excel, Drake and Practice Solutions a plus
