Position Overview: The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. They will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom and luxury construction, as well as a strong background in various types of construction projects such as ground up, remodels, underground construction, and more
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling and quality control
Communicate with project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and changes
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure safety and quality standards are met
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in construction management
Familiarity with a variety of construction projects, including ground up, remodels, underground, educational, commercial, senior living, healthcare, industrial, office buildings, retail, restaurants, and restoration
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office
