Position Overview The Sales & Use Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of sales and use tax in the company, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales and use tax planning strategies for clients
Manage sales and use tax audits and inquiries
Review and approve sales and use tax returns and reconciliations
Mentor and develop Associates and Senior Associates
Lead and manage multiple complex sales and use tax engagements.
Monitor and communicate changes in state tax laws and regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
5+ years of progressive experience in Sales and Use Tax in a consulting role
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
CPA, CMI, or JD is a plus
