Akkodis is seeking a Software Quality Analyst for a 6+-month contract (with possible extension) with a client in Glen Allen VA 23060 (hybrid).
Title: Software Quality Analyst
Location: Glen Allen VA 23060 (This is a hybrid WFH model- 3 days onsite)
Contract: 6+ months contract
Pay Rate: $$58-$62/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Description
Work Experience:
8+ years as a Test Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, or closely related testing/QA position
5+ years leading testing of large-scale production n-tier systems
Proficiency Required in
UiPath
Oracle SQL
MongoDB
Java Spring application architecture (non-developer)
Linux (navigation/log retrieval)
WebLogic
Nice to have
Test driven development (TDD) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience.
Knowledge of Risk Based and/or Scaled Agile delivery principles.
Experience with Confluent Cloud and Kafka
Understanding of Cloud computing architecture such as multi-tenant SaaS
Experience integrating automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline
Experience in the energy sector or related regulated industry
Manager who will be conducting the interviews shared that he is looking for:
"Experience in Manual and Automated testing of Client Server and Web Applications..."
Drilling down to the details is important for us since we do not segregate manual and automated testing. We expect the successful candidate to excel at both.
Extensive experience in Azure DevOps Tool
Expertise in Backend API Automation in Java Language
Strong knowledge of the UiPath platform and its components (UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Robots, etc.)
When there is no mention of experience with non-relational databases in the resume such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, etc. is not a "deal breaker" but our backend technology is based on MongoDB so it would be preferable the candidate was comfortable with that technology.
