We are seeking a skilled Thermal Analyst to join our team 100% onsite. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, verification, and validation of thermal models for space hardware. As part of a cross-functional group, you will ensure model accuracy, design margins, and compliance with customer requirements.
This role requires a strong passion for space propulsion, fluid control systems, launch vehicle actuation, and spacecraft control mechanisms. You will work with various types of hardware, including valves, thrusters, linear actuators, and rotary actuators.
Responsibilities:
Develop new and modify existing thermal models for space hardware.
Provide clear verbal communication of project status to program teams.
Prepare detailed documentation of thermal models and calculations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Thermal Design Analyst working with space hardware.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Strong ability to manage multiple programs and competing demands.
Expertise in thermal analysis techniques.
Preferred experience with software tools such as Siemens NX, Thermal Desktop, ANSYS, and MSC Sinda.
