The Quality Manufacturing Engineer (Q/MFG) is to support the organization in the development, maintenance, and execution of a robust set of processes that will allow the business to continually improve. In addition, the Q/MFG Engineer will provide the Quality Management function to support the company's Project execution activity by way of contract-specific Quality Planning and interfacing with Customer, Certifying Authority and third-party Quality representatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and acceptance of vendor manufacturing records against Project requirements
Prepare, issue for use, and update Project ITPs, Quality Plans, and Weld/NDE Matrices
Align, support, and communicate with Project Teams on Project specific issues and NCR's.
Support, conduct and report on supplier evaluation audits.
Participate with ad hoc audits or investigations into quality problems so that root causes are identified, and effective corrective and preventive measures are put in place.
Assist in maintaining and revisioning Trendsetter Engineering processes and procedures relating to the business' functional areas.
Provision of direction, guidance, support, and development of a Quality culture
As necessary, perform other duties, requiring the same level of skill & responsibility when required.
To support any new Quality Initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree and/ or at least 2-5 years of previous experience related to position.
Advanced personal computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Requires the ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, the ability to plan and organize work in an efficient manner, and the ability to work well under stress and time pressures.
Demonstrable relevant experience of working in a Quality or Manufacturing department, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities.
Familiar with manufacturing products in compliance with API 6A, API 17D, API 17TR8, ASME B31.3, and NACE MR 0175.
Familiar with IFS ERP system and ISO TS 29001 preferred.
