We’re looking for a Training Specialist who can bring energy and enthusiasm to our industry award-winning team! This role involves developing and conducting training programs for our employees. This exciting opportunity is based out of our corporate headquarters in Little Rock and here’s what you’ll be doing:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Conduct training sessions focusing on store operations, sales, management skills, product knowledge, and customer service.

  • Develop and update training materials, manuals, and presentations to ensure relevance and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with managers to stay updated on new processes, products, and advancements in the automotive parts industry.

  • Train sales staff to effectively communicate technical information to customers and address their inquiries.

  • Organize and facilitate workshops or webinars to enhance employees' understanding of company processes, resources, and policies.

  • Assess training needs through regular communication with management and field personnel.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and making adjustments as needed.

  • Stay informed about industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices to incorporate into training modules.

  • Travel to various locations to conduct on-site training and provide ongoing support to employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Previous experience in training or education.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information in an accessible manner.

  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Ability to adapt training strategies to diverse learning styles and backgrounds.

  • Proficient in using multimedia tools and technology for training purposes.

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.

  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges related to training and the needs of the business.

  • Passion for staying updated on industry trends and advancements.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Language, Communication, & Mathematical Skills

Get ready to flex your brain muscles! You should also have the ability to read and interpret professional journals and technical procedures, as well as write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

This role requires some mathematical skills. You’ll need to be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Sounds exciting, right?

 

But that’s not all! You’ll need to fully apply your skills and experience as you carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. You’ll be solving problems and dealing with concrete variables in yet-to-be standardized situations. It’s like solving puzzles every day!

 

Let’s not forget communication skills.  You’ll have the opportunity to communicate with individuals throughout the company.  So, get ready to shine.

 

Mathematical Skills

This role requires some mathematical skills. You’ll need to be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Sounds exciting, right?

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

You’ll also need to be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Do you have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record? Great!

Physical Demands

Now, let’s talk about the physical demands of this job. You’ll need to be able to stand, walk, use your hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with your hands and arms, see both near and far distances, talk, and hear. Occasionally, you’ll need to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You’ll regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment
