Physical and Environmental Requirements
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds; weight may vary depending on the location.
Must be able to push wheelchairs, use Hoyer lifts, bend, twist, and pick up objects with body and hands.
Must be able to operate a vehicle in all weather conditions to take to grocery store, doctors’ appointments, and other community activities.
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Equivalent work experience in the field of DD is considered. Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Must exhibit knowledge of the concepts of empowerment and behavior management. Must become familiar with the standards as mandated by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
Must meet the agency policy with respect to a criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.
Schedule
Will work the assigned scheduled shifts as listed on the Home Staffing Pattern, combined with flexible administration time.
Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of individuals served.
