Job Title: Information Security Engineer (Contingent Resource)


Location: Charlotte, NC


Job Description: As an Information Security Engineer in this contingent resource assignment, you will:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering.


• Review and analyze multi-faceted, large-scale, or long-term Information Security Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.


• Contribute to resolving complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.


• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical investigations of security-related incidents and post-incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies.


• Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information security policies and standards.


• Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security.


• Review and correlate security logs.


• Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry-leading security solutions and best practices to implement components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, and risk management.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.


• Deep understanding of Cloud and Azure technologies.


• Proficiency in Automation with Terraform.


• Experience in hardening cloud infrastructure and fully automating controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Terraform experience.


• Experience with ON-Prem Active Directory (AD).


• Proficiency in PowerShell/.NET scripting.


• Strong Information Security acumen.


• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive efforts to completion.
