The Ingredient Handler assists with setting up production line, preparing ingredients, supplying production the lines, and, ensuring overall flow of the production line. Ingredient Handler will follow all company policies with regards to Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
Responsibilities
Receive/collect raw material ingredients and measure specific quantities according to Provide support for the manufacturing and packaging processes in Production
Obtain vegetable blends and other materials from dry area, freezers or cooler and deliver to Production prior to running out of materials
Weigh seasoning accurately per recipe
Verify physical materials against P.O. and Receiving Documents
Put away materials
Transfer materials to different locations
Pick materials
Return unused material to stock room
Perform inventory cycle counts
Maintain proper documentation retention
Utilize the bar-code/warehouse management system (JDE) to do all of the above
Qualifications
High School Education; or one to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
must have basic reading and math skills;
must be able to follow simple written or verbal instructions.
