This Opportunity:

  • Supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs or policies. Serves as a liaison between leaders of a business unit, division, or profit center and the corporate human resources function.
  • Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include administration of compensation programs, training and development, employee relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance.
  • Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organization's HR practices to those prevailing in the market.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
  • Provides consultative guidance and coaching to leaders on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.
  • Informs and implements organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies as developed by the parent organization.
  • Support leaders navigating complex employee relations issues, investigations, and/or performance improvement plans.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Multiple years of experience in succession planning, with a proven track record of implementing strategies to identify and prepare future leaders, assessing talent, creating development plans, ensuring smooth transitions of key roles, and collaborating effectively with senior leadership while demonstrating a strong understanding of best practices in succession planning and talent management.
  • Extensive experience with coaching senior leaders, with a proven ability to provide strategic guidance, foster leadership development, and drive organizational success through effective talent management and coaching practices.
  • Must have experience as a Human Resources Business Partner at a mid to large size firm (around 1,000 employees or more), demonstrating the ability to manage HR functions at scale and effectively support a large and diverse workforce.
  • Familiarity with labor laws from various states, including the ability to comprehend and apply legal regulations
  • High school Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6) years as an HRBP delivering corporate HR programs such as performance management, workforce planning, succession management, etc.
  • Previous experience at a mid to large size architecture, engineering, construction or professional services firm.
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience with robust HRIS systems
