Entry-Level Materials Handler (Contract) at Pulmonx Corporation in Redwood City, California

Job Description:

Pulmonx is looking for a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization and efficiency to join us as an Entry-level Materials Handler for a temporary contract through the end of 2024 (possibility to extend into 2025)! Who is Pulmonx? We are the maker of the Zephyr Endobronchial Valve and a global leader in interventional pulmonology, planning tools, and treatments for obstructive lung disease.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour DOE

Location: On-site at our Corporate Offices 700 Chesapeake Drive, Redwood City, CA

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all production Work Order kitting


• Perform QAD Work Order component issue transactions as needed


• Assist with and investigate any material work order discrepancies


• Support floorstock restocking in all production areas


• Primary source for receiving all direct and indirect material/shipments


• Maintain Receiving areas


• Process Service and RGA returns accordingly


• Help maintain all inventory locations


• Move material between locations and facilities as needed


• Repackage inventoried material into smaller quantities as needed


• Complete monthly cycle counts as directed


• Assist with component transfers into the Clean Room store locations


• Assist with stocking/maintaining CER consumables and PPE (personal protective equipment) items e.g. booties, bouffant caps, wipes, masks, glasses etc.


• Help package demos product


• Support with handling of administrative tasks related to purchase orders, invoice verification, and inventory tracking


• Assist with sterile load prepping, shipping and receipts


• Assist with pulling, verifying and packing orders e.g. orders to Customers, Sales Reps and bulk shipments to various Distribution Center(s)

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent (Required)


• Previous experience in Material handling in a medical device production manufacturing environment (Preferred)


• Experience in Clean Environment Room (Preferred)


• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills


• Good interpersonal skills dealing with internal customers


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs


• Multi-tasking ability


• Good attention to detail


• Able to work overtime as needed including weekends
