We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join the finance team and contribute to their continued success.



Position Overview: As an Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department by assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop their accounting skills in a fast-paced, professional environment. You will work closely with senior accountants and finance managers to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial records.



Key Responsibilities:




  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording and categorizing financial transactions.


  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.


  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.


  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and databases.


  • Expense Tracking: Assist with tracking and processing employee expense reports and invoices.


  • Audit Preparation: Help prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.


  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.


  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed, including filing, organizing documents, and responding to inquiries.


Qualifications:




  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience or internships.


  • Skills:

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is a plus.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
