Summary

To support sales and marketing activities and generate new business.

Responsibilities


  • Generating sales through telemarketing efforts and relationship building with customers.
  • Self-starter with ability to articulate a clear message and drive opportunities by asking the appropriate questions of customers.
  • Ensure that databases are current and updated daily with accurate, "real time" information
  • Routinely reference system report for additional sales opportunities
  • Participate in sales efforts including marketing activities (in-house sales meetings and efforts to assist in all aspects of lead generation
  • Follow-up on scheduled calls with prospects being nurtured and work with outside sales people to close outstanding RFQ's.
  • Review all RFQ's you have been involved with, and update information such as status, customers notes, future contact, etc.
  • Work closely with our partner to optimize usage of marketing programs and tools.
  • Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
  • Partner with current in-house customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma; Associates degree, preferred or equivalent, relevant industry work experience
  • Strong and engaging interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high transaction environment
  • Prior experience in telemarketing or CRM software a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving call volume quota and engagement success.
  • Experience using Outlook email, internet browser, and basic word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office) required.
