Crime Data Analyst
The Crime Analyst will support law enforcement efforts by analyzing crime data to identify patterns, trends, and potential suspects. The role involves utilizing data analysis techniques, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and SQL to provide actionable insights that help reduce crime rates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal justice, criminology, or data analysis, along with practical law enforcement experience. The Crime Analyst will work in an office setting, with occasional fieldwork required for data collection and analysis. The role may involve working irregular hours based on the needs of ongoing investigations and law enforcement activities.
