Job Description Summary

Oversight Manager responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and providing oversight to a subservicer that provides mortgage servicing for a portfolio of residential loans. To include leading and managing a team of servicing professionals.

What You’ll Do


  • Provide daily reviews of the Subservicer’s loan servicing efforts to include Escrow Administration, Investor Reporting, MERS, and QA. 

  • Provide Daily Support and Oversight for matters related to Subservicer’s efforts. To include reviewing reporting, systems, and documentation to ensure Subservicer’s compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Monitors subservicer’s performance objectives and goals, to ensure continued compliance with investor, insurer, guarantor, and agency guidelines.

  • Manage governance processes of the third-party subservicer to minimize losses from failed vendor processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.  Evaluate and monitor processes. 

  • Streamline or automate processes as opportunities are identified. Assist with training and developing staff members as needed.

  • Supervises department staff, establish and monitors performance measurements, and defines training goals.

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience


  • High School Degree or equivalent

  • 7-10 years of related experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing industry and investor guidelines.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task.

  • Able to work in team environment with strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing systems, servicing technology and practices.

  • FIS IBS experience is a plus.

  • Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, and subject matter experts.
