Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
Large food manufacturer in the Anaheim, CA area is seeking a Sanitation Manager who is responsible for overseeing and managing all sanitation activities within the facility over 3rd shift operations. This includes overseeing and managing a 3rd party sanitation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sanitation, with specific experience in CIP (Clean-In-Place) pipe cleaning and maintenance.


Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develop and implement sanitation procedures: Create and maintain comprehensive sanitation procedures and protocols, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• 
  Manage sanitation staff: Recruit, train, and supervise sanitation staff, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
• 
  Oversee CIP operations: Manage and optimize the CIP system, including scheduling cleaning cycles, monitoring equipment performance, and troubleshooting any issues.
• 
  Ensure regulatory compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant sanitation regulations and ensure the facility is in full compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
• 
  Conduct inspections and audits: Regularly conduct inspections and audits of the facility to identify sanitation issues and ensure compliance with procedures.
• 
  Implement corrective actions: Develop and implement corrective actions for any sanitation deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
• 
  Manage sanitation budgets: Develop and manage sanitation budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• 
  Promote a safe and hygienic work environment: Ensure that all sanitation practices are carried out in a safe and hygienic manner, minimizing the risk of contamination or accidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation management, with a strong focus on CIP systems
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective sanitation programs
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant sanitation regulations and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
