Hinger/Hanger, 1st Shift at American Woodmark in Cumberland, Maryland

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

A Hinger Hanger works on an assembly line attaching hinges and hanging doors while the cabinet moves down the production assembly line.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Use air tools, hand tools, jigs, and other equipment to install doors and assemble fixtures
for cabinets
* Use hinging machine to drill doors, install hinges while checking for quality standards
* Use scanning system to verify RFID tags inside doors and fronts
* Accurately interpret computer programs to identify and hinge doors
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
* Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure

Required Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or G.E.D.

Required Physical Ability:

* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally life and/or move up to 50lb
