Role/ Department: Compensation and Benefits Sr Analyst

This role provides analytical support to the Compensation Consulting and other Reward team, including data analysis, presentation creation and compensation administration support. This role is responsible for supporting compensation administration and implementation for the organization's various compensation programs, including position descriptions, compensation governance reporting, salary administration and analyses.

Performs operations, technical or administration work often in support of compensation consultants. Requires technical or other specific training or equivalent experience. Performs tasks and duties according to established procedures. Generates new and improved solutions to complex problems. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Anticipates patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Serves as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll, benefits, HR partners and vendors)
• Edits and assists with creating new job descriptions and updating existing job descriptions.
• Retrieves appropriate compensation data and creates regular, ad-hoc and formal reports for multiple team members and internal clients.
• Maintains market data database, including report creation and system issue resolution. Assists with development and maintenance of compensation data, tables and overall set-up in HRIS system.
• Administers the annual market data survey submission process.
• Analyzes current business processes to reduce redundancies and identify areas for potential improvement. Documents procedures and changes for control purposes.
• Assists in the analysis, design, and administration of organization compensation programs, including base pay and incentive pay programs.

Skills/Qualifications:
• 2 or more years related compensation experience
• Advanced proficiency in Windows-based applications with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal assistance
• Requires advanced or specialized skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures and systems
• Understands how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectives
• Exchanged ideas and information effectively with others outside of own team and evaluates and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a clear manner
