We are looking for a creative specialist who is experienced in leading the design of brand experience strategies and high-performance Content that wins across Consumer journeys and makes our brands culturally famous! This role is accountable for leading Brand and Content on our Fruity portfolio of brands (Skittles, Starburst, Life Savers), driving the development and delivery of region-specific content and brands for North America, as well as global stewardship for Skittles, acting as the Global Brand Community Leader.

They will design and deliver world-class communications strategies and audience-first, scalable, fit-for-platform campaigns and content in partnership with our evolving mix of agency partners, platforms, and ecosystems, aligned with the brand pillars, marketing objectives, and business goals.

Key to the role will be working with the brand teams, cross-functional partners (Brand, Media, PR, Dcomm, Human Intelligence, Content Studio, Social & Digital Properties Team, Responsible Marketing, Marketing Properties, etc) as well as external agencies to leverage insights from the consumer, the marketplace and the digital landscape in order to deliver high-impact campaigns. Globally, this person will partner with the Global Brands & Content team.

Key Responsibilities:

This role has responsibility and accountability for the delivery of brand experience strategies and high-performance Content, building brand equity across the portfolio based on priorities aligned by the Global Brands & Content team and locally for North America by the MLT:


  • Partner with North America Marketing Cell Leads and Global Portfolio VP's on key strategic growth initiatives; develop briefs to create relevant content and integrated brand experiences

  • Lead the creative process from brief to execution including consumer research with cross-functional experts

  • Act as brand "north star" and storyteller with cross-functional teams to ensure all touchpoints reflect cohesive and enhanced brand narrative, ensuring ideas travel across relevant media channels and online/offline touchpoints

  • Define relevant measurement and tracking of impact and ROI driven by the depth of understanding of consumers' omnichannel journeys, with emphasis on digital-first ideas

  • Collaborate with the One Demand Performance team, acting as a content strategist, to support the learning agenda with content for digital test & learns, for the region and as a role model for the Enterprise to build on

  • Support as B&C lead for Skittles Guidance and Governance forum

  • Support Skittles through global brand stewardship - including compass, architectural design, stewardship community, partnerships, global guidelines and governance

  • Manage non-working/production budget and track overall project list

  • Strong stakeholder management across agency partners as well as internal cross-functional teams


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Certificate required (preferred in Marketing or Business)

  • 8+ years of relevant brand building and strategic marketing & communications roles across markets and multiple platforms. Cross-cultural perspective preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, working on complex global activations

  • Prior experience in brand management, agency oversight and media planning

  • Prior responsibility for developing and holding teams accountable for related metrics

  • Experience managing and developing strong collaborative relationships

  • Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

  • Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments and external agency partners

  • A modern/current approach to how big brands are conveyed

  • Ability to inspire and build people and team capabilities across markets
