Looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager for a mid-size General Contractor headquartered in Baltimore, MD. Exciting opportunity for anyone looking to join a mid-size organization who is focusing on growth and development from within!
Core Responsibilities:
- Support Project Management team from bidding through close-out
- Participate in project scheduling, bidding, take-offs, procurement, and other tasks as needed.
- Develop, log, schedule, and review all project documentation and submittals.
- Manage RFI's, submittals, change orders, permits, and other project documentation.
- BIM coordination
- Work with subcontractors to manage punch list items
- Projects can vary from renovations, addition & renovation of historic buildings, demolition & rebuild, general interiors, and adaptive reuse multifamily.
To be successful in this role:
- 2-3 years' experience within a commercial general contractor or subcontractor
- Hungry to learn all aspects of Project Management
- Currently operating in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager position for a commercial general contractor.
- Construction related degree preferred, ideally in Construction Management. Relevant experience would also be considered.
