Job Description:

Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM-7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $23.55 an hour + $0.5 shift differential

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • You demonstrated behaviors to support us and company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries.


  • You show behaviors to support quality work processes to include, Document & track production variables, downtime, product samples, and you ensure blending of raw materials by weight or automatic metering systems, follow and document time and temperature points in recipe specifications to meet the quality standards.


  • You support the ConAgra Performance System-CPS.


  • You follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP's).


  • You lead hourly associates in daily activities.


  • You setup receiving assignments and all related paperwork.


  • You provide guidance to receiving crew and ensure safety regulations, procedures and quality standards are met.


  • You manage workflow of others, including inbound shipments, outbound shipments, and line supply.


  • You lead teams through daily direction setting meetings and provide follow-up on open items.


  • You monitor receiving schedule and work with drivers to handle issues, check out trailers and containers.


  • You operate a double-reach, tandem, rider and pallet jack forklift to move product to and from inventory warehouse storage and to and from the production lines.


  • You stage pallets and product to and safety of warehouse operations.


  • You rotate date sensitive stock according to company policy.


  • You operate inventory control devices (radio frequency) to view, track, and adjust product inventory.


  • You help with quality holds and releases, damaged and non-conforming product.


  • You count and inspect received inventory tagging damaged cases.


  • You maintain cleanliness in all work areas and equipment.


  • You perform required safety checks of equipment before use.


  • You perform line service responsibilities


  • You are a subject matter expert for inventory control, shipping, receiving functions, and SAP trouble shooting.


  • You verify bill of lading.


  • You manually document the SKU and number for any loose cases.


  • You work overtime to achieve production and shipping schedules.


  • You will report directly to Warehouse Team lead.


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:


  • Experience working in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment for 3+ months


  • Experience operating a sit down and standup double reach forklifts


  • High School diploma or equivalent


  • Experience working in a food processing or packaging environment


  • Experience work in a USDA, FDA, OSHA, or GMP compliant environment


  • Proficiency in SAP


ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs during time on duty.


  • Operate a standup double-reach forklift truck to pick and put away products in the refrigerated warehouse safely.


  • Operate a forklift truck to transport materials and product to and from storage safely.


  • Pick products from inventory and place on pallets for relocation.


  • Communicate with other coworkers to coordinate work activities.


  • Record warehouse inventory data on forms.


  • Knowledge of forklift safety and troubleshooting


  • Work individually and with others as a team at all levels.


  • Knowledge of GMP's.


  • Be PIT Certified.
