Sr Accountant- Consulting at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Dallas, Texas

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Sr Accountant for a contract oportunity in the Farmers Branch/Dallas area. This is is 2-3 months deadline driven project for an fixed assets guru. The client is seeking a "higher level" accountant (who can work independently) to help centralize accounting operations to their corporate office.


Some of the requirements will include:

• Needs to be able to work independently.


• Strong Excel skills. Extracting from AS400, doing the reconciliations and analysis, uploading to a cloud-based software


• Fixed Assets and Depreciation Reconciliations


• Cash reconciliations: closing local bank accounts and transitioning to New York.


• Credit card deposit reconciliations, which can be tricky due to " one to two day delays in processing" - Try to match up batches to the bank statements


• Reconciliation of GRIR (goods received but not invoiced (AP function) - This will be working through Excel to reconcile information from old system to new system


• There may be potential one-off projects aside from the primary tasks.
