Responsibilities:
Summary: Collaborate with the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center on cutting-edge projects involving manned and unmanned ground vehicles, robotics, vehicle electronics, and ground vehicle simulation.
Lead and manage programs or sub-projects, working closely with clients to translate complex platform requirements into structured engineering components across multiple disciplines.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's of Science or higher in Engineering or a related field.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience, with leadership in large military system projects.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in Vehicle Network and Data Architecture and Application Integration.
Proficiency with Deterministic and Non-Deterministic Data Bus Architectures.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML, UML, DoDAF, UPDM).
Knowledge of data networks spanning multiple security layers (e.g., Secure vs. Non-Secure Networks).
Functional Decomposition and Capability Development for new architecture design.
Subsystem and System-level integration and testing on vehicle electronics systems.
Experience in developing and executing System-Level Plans.
Embedded systems development, integration, and support for autonomous navigation, machine learning, and optionally manned systems.
Desired Qualifications: Process development and improvement management (CMMI).
Travel: Ability to travel to customer and contractor facilities and test centers as needed.
