United States Hiring Supervisor:   Hiring Range:
(Contingent upon available funding): Medical Assistant $16.00-$18.00,hourly 
Licensed Practical Nurse $20.00-$22.50, hourly   Work Schedule: Typically 8 hours/day, 5 days/week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Job Summary:

Assist physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.



Environmental Hazards:

Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.



Physical Requirements:

-Current Registered MedicalAssistant/Certified Medical Assistant
-Valid Driver's License required
-Current CPR certification required



Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:

Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures; medication administration, triage experience, direct patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy required. Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required.    



Preferred:

-Experience with EPIC electronic medical recordssystem
