What You've Accomplished



You have completed a BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Materials or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, have worked in an engineering role for at least 0-2 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:


  • Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study

  • Previous Framatome internship/co-op experience

  • Component or plant systems design and analysis, including familiarity with software tools such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, LS-DYNA, PEPSE, RELAP5, ANSYS Fluent, AFT Fathom

  • Strong technical problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to analyze customer technical specifications and apply appropriate product solutions to meet the customer's expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner

  • Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, and a desire to work in the nuclear industry

As an Engineer in Charlotte, NC, you will be part of the proven team in the Products and Engineering Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work could include analysis of plant structures, fluid systems or components, considering various loads and stresses; preparing and reviewing technical documents; developing solutions to problems identified by customers; ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package



The range of base salary for the position is between $66,000 - $86,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
