We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Roseville, CA.
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for the company, ensuring that all invoices are processed, payments are made in a timely manner, and reconciliations are completed. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices and check requests
Sort, code, and match invoices
Set invoices up for payment
Process electronic transfers and payments
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors as needed
Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and reconciliation of accounts
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial role
Knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: $28 - $30 per hr.
