A Lot About You
We're seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of social video editors and producers and short-form vertical video content strategy across Yahoo News social channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. As a senior manager, you will be instrumental in shaping our approach to social video, including creator-style content, TikTok-inspired formats, and live-streaming opportunities. You will be an effective leader, fostering creativity and collaboration within your team while driving innovation.
In this role, you will oversee video production and editing, coach on-camera talent, and develop strategies to create compelling new formats on social media. You will be deeply knowledgeable about the latest TikTok trends and use your editorial experience to determine how and when Yahoo News should jump into conversations. This role requires extensive collaboration - with editors, producers, and creators - to ensure Yahoo News' video content is both editorially rigorous and highly engaging.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
