As a Staff Accountant, you will manage and report on financial processes and records, including general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, cash management, and compliance with financial policies. Responsibilities include:
Finance Management: Oversee financial processes, maintain general ledger, prepare financial statements, manage cash flow, ensure compliance with tax laws and policies, and facilitate annual audits.
Budgeting: Prepare and analyze annual operating budgets, assist in budget development for Board approval, monitor budget variations, and prepare budgets for grant applications.
Reconciliations and Reporting: Conduct annual reconciliations, prepare financial reports as required by Medicaid, ODMH, and other funding sources.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of three years of relevant experience
Experience with healthcare, non-profit, or mental health finances preferred
Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
