• Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions • Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results • Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements • Assist with the operational improvements. We are looking to standardize a lot of our systems and internal processes to optimize it. • Look for efficiencies in our company.Working with third parties such investors, financial institutions, and internal team to transmit and report financial information • Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process • Provide data analytics and help with creating reporting functions and dashboards. • Managing the budget process • Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes • Evaluating accounting and internal control systems • Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed • Developing and monitoring business performance metrics • Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger • Bring the books to the trial balance stage • Perform partial checks of the posting process • Complete tax forms
