Direct and manage the company's pre-production functions, including pre-verification of orders, scheduling templates and installation,
purchasing, and handling customer issues and remakes to ensure the company meets or exceeds customer satisfaction.
Production Planning
Receive the sales information and, based on the one to two-week turnaround, schedule the template work to be done.
Ensure that once the template work is done, the CAD/CAM teams have the information necessary to ensure the fabrication schedule can be met.
Schedule the Cut, Fabrication, Delivery, and Installation to maintain the targeted turnaround time.
Make sure that the customer is apprised of the installation date and receives confirmation of the same.
Verify that all phases of the project are being confirmed as completed.
Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
Computes the amount of material required to complete job orders.
Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Updates master production schedule on a daily basis for the following 16-20 hours of production based on quantified shift progress.
Invoice the jobs once the confirmation of completion is confirmed.
Review the installation notes for any discrepancies the install teams encountered, relaying that information to the appropriate team member and the CEO.
Ensure that training, software, hardware, and other components are current to maintain an accurate schedule.
Be available for any other activities that are necessary to accomplish the mission of the Company
Team Development & Management
Manage scheduling team member(s).

Work effectively with other supervisors and management staff prioritizing overall daily tasks.
Process Development & Documentation
Compiles and maintains computerized records such as material inventory, open orders, in-process production reports, safety stocks, and status and location of materials.
Files, prints, and distributes daily electronic production schedules to production staff as needed (StoneApp is the source of truth)
Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale when scheduling production to achieve positive results in all areas, working continuously to improve all areas.
Administer and fulfill all safety requirements
Administer corporate policies and procedures consistently to establish and sustain an effective, safe, and fair work environment for all employees.
Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures
Work as part of the management team on process improvement and capital project activities
Information Management & Reporting
Utilizes production tracking tools for better development of accurate daily production schedules by tracking totals by process and shift on a weekly and monthly basis.
Accurately and promptly complete all paperwork associated with the position (corrective actions, scrap reports, remakes, employee performance, etc.)
Effectively assimilate data relating to labor, cut times, quality, schedule standardization, non-conforming products/services, etc., and collectively use this information to plan and execute optimum departmental operations targeting company metrics and goals.
Evaluate supplies based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.
Examine catalogs, commerce publications, and directories to find the right suppliers.
Study sales records and inventory levels.
Purchasing Management
Creates a hot list of needed components for purchasing and expedites list to QA and Receiving for receipt.
Purchase all material per order requirements
Acquire materials and parts needed to achieve the greatest cost-effectiveness
Negotiate the lowest price
Place orders for production/quality control to check and inspect shipments
Oversee inventory management with team members
Order supplies
Receive material (packing slips with invoices)
Administer online purchasing systems
With production, evaluate the production and distribution abilities of suppliers and consider all aspects that may influence purchasing decisions
Attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences when applicable to learn of new products and services
Establish foreign and domestic suppliers where feasible
