Midwestern Pet Foods is seeking a Director of Corporate Administration to join the team in Evansville, IN. As the Director of Corporate Administration, you will be the point-of-contact HR support in employee relations, staffing, payroll, benefits, and other initiatives. This position will report to the VP, Corporate Administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day Human Resource support to the employees and management.
Supports Human Resources Manager in each Midwestern Pet Foods facility in the execution of strategic initiatives including employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, staffing training, and development.
Administer HR policies and programs in partnership with supervisors and managers and other HR staff.
Recommend policies, practices, and programs to meet management and employee needs.
Provide coaching on employee-related issues such as professional development, performance, investigations, and disciplinary action.
Maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as state and federal labor laws.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
Processes documents and forms necessary for the implementation of various Human Resources policies programs plan procedures and practices.
Maintains all necessary records and files to support review and audits.
Assist in the management and administration of company benefit programs.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Onboard new employees and conduct new hire orientation.
Assist HR Department on other assignments and/or special projects as requested.

Job Qualifications
HR Generalist with 5-7 years of relevant experience
Experience supporting a manufacturing operation preferred.
Experience conducting complex investigations and taking corrective action when need be.
Experience planning and coordinating employee engagement activities.
