This position has the following responsibilities and behaviors required.
Responsibilities: • To accurately organize and manage administrative tasks:
o Doing Purchase Orders and filing for Lead Pastor
o Must be able to learn new software (Church software) and use standard software (i.e. Microsoft, etc.)
o Managing Master Calendar, Events, and Groups in the church's software
o Help manage Lead Pastor's schedule
o To help set up meetings and training events (Pastor should just be able to focus on teaching and building relationships instead of set-up or attendance)
o To keep church office supplies stocked
o To help with follow-up and filing from meetings (staff, deacons, elders, school, etc.)
o To help manage membership data (transferring membership letters, maintaining database, etc.) • To help with communication
o To answer phones and direct people to appropriate staff member.
o To answer questions for people that contact the office or take message where appropriate.
o To communicate with individuals on behalf of the pastor and deal with communication follow-up
o To communicate and schedule with ministry teams on behalf of the pastor.
o To schedule baptisms • To help manage some church events • Able to do other duties as assigned
