Job Description:
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use EPIC software to setup/maintain client claims, progress notes and correspondence
- Utilize insurer websites to identify customer claims information
- Understand Insurance fundamentals and coverage assessment of home, auto, and commercial policies.
- Communicate with our personnel, customers, adjusters, and claimant regarding insurance matters
- Complete DMV filings and procedures
- After 2 years, obtain California Property & Casualty Insurance license
- Adhere to the requirements of the E&O Plus program
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED is preferred
- 2 years insurance or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well independently as well as with others
