In your role as IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing user support, managing our local IT infrastructure, and administering Microsoft 365 (M365) for local and remote users - while working closely with the corporate IT team in Europe. You will play a crucial role in supporting the IT needs of our employees in the US and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support
Provide technical support to employees for IT-related inquiries and issues (1st and 2nd level support)
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems
Set up and maintain workstations (PCs, laptops, and printers)
Conduct training sessions for employees on the use of IT systems
Management of Local IT Infrastructure
Administer and maintain server environments (Windows/Linux)
Monitor and manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls)
Ensure data availability and security through regular backups and maintenance
Implement and monitory security measures (antivirus, firewall, access control)
M365 Administration
Manage and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including user and license management
Support the administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 services
Implement security and compliance policies within the M365 environment
Assist in integrating and automating business processes using M365 tools
Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in IT support and systems administration
Strong knowledge of server and network administration
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and related cloud services
Excellent problem solving skills and a structured approach to work
Strong service orientation and communication skills
Ability to address IT concerns in person and remotely
Willingness to travel up to 15%
