Job Summary



    The Legal Assistant provides a broad range of legal support to the corporate legal department, including the Chief Legal Officer and a team of Corporate Attorneys. This role is primarily supporting our subpoena desk. The primary functions of the role will be assisting with redactions, processing subpoena intakes and personnel requests, and supporting the attorneys with individual cases.


    This is a hybrid role, and work will be in our Coppell office two days per week.




    Job Responsibilities




    • Process subpoenas and requests for employment records.

    • Support AMN's litigation team, including organizing case files, preparing exhibits, assisting with eDiscovery, and searching dockets.

    • Intake and triage of legal claims and drafting of correspondence.

    • Handle electronic billing system for outside counsel.

    • Perform a variety of administrative and confidential duties in support of corporate attorneys.

    Qualifications



      Education & Years of Experience


      • High School Diploma/GED plus 5-7 years of relevant work experience



      Additional Experience


      • Experience working in the legal field, preferably in litigation





      Work Environment / Physical Requirements




      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate


        $24.50 - $29.25 Hourly
        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
