Our client is seeking a temp to perm Governance Manager to support the Board of Directors, Council, Executive Committee and Executive Office. This role sits hybrid in New York City.
This role will support governance operations through collaboration with leadership, performing an array of complex tasks, including but not limited to managing leadership groups and related projects, generating correspondence, agenda preparation, creating PowerPoint presentations, taking minutes, and implementing governance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
5+ years related experience supporting C-suite executives
Understanding of governance principles and compliance
Ability to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Experience in the preparation, drafting and editing of executive-level correspondence
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and virtual meeting platforms
Technically savvy with the ability to operate audio-visual equipment
Flexible schedule and ability to travel a minimum of 2-3 times per year
