Job Summary:

The Glass and Glazing Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial glass and glazing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, specifically in the glazing industry, with a proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and subcontractor teams to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage glass and glazing projects from initial planning through final execution.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and resolve issues in real-time.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and timely updates.
  • Prepare project documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and closeout documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the estimating and procurement teams to manage material ordering and job costs.
  • Lead internal and external project meetings to track milestones and project goals.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of glass, curtainwall, and storefront systems.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
