Job Description:

Position Summary:

  • Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Ensure alignment with business objectives and targets.
  • Works closely with senior management, business units, and external stakeholders to provide insights, recommendations, and guidance on financial matters.
  • Serve as a key member of the internal consulting function that directly supports the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors on both internal and external presentations, financial analysis, and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to support strategic decision making and planning.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Prepare investor presentations, scripts, messaging and Q&A documents for the CEO and CFO.
  • Contribute to the strategy and implementation of an investor relations program that is aligned with key enterprise priorities and financial goals.
  • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives and programs by managing cross-functional work streams and ensuring accountability from stakeholders from across the organization.
  • Translate performance data into key financial and operational priorities that center on driving complexity reduction (80/20) and profitable growth.
  • Research and monitor industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices.
  • Directly support any inorganic growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

Candidate Attributes

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance function, working in a multi-location, multi-dimensional (e.g. multiple businesses) environment a plus.
  • Progressive experience in financial planning and analysis required.
  • Experience in the Investor Relations function at a public company preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and ability to handle complex and large data sets.
  • Highly motivated individual who has proven success in working independently within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining "executive presence" under pressure.
  • Creative thinker with an ability to see the big picture, while paying close attention to detail.
  • Accounting or finance degree required; MBA is a plus.
