We are seeking a Senior UX Designer with 10+ years of experience in B2C or B2B eCommerce to join our team. This position is critical in driving the user experience for our eCommerce platforms, ensuring that we design solutions that meet user needs and business goals. The candidate must have experience working within various product lifecycles, including waterfall, agile, and sprints. A strong portfolio showcasing work samples and case studies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in UX research, design, and user testing across eCommerce platforms.
Frame problems by gathering context from end users, stakeholders, and other relevant sources to uncover opportunities.
Facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn opportunities into solution concepts.
Validate design concepts by interviewing customers before development begins.
Translate design concepts into detailed designs that meet both technical and functional requirements.
Collaborate with business, product management, creative marketing, and IT teams to ensure the success of UX initiatives.
Test designs with end users to validate usability and flow.
Provide UI specifications and digital assets to the development team using a design system.
Apply front-end development skills to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in B2C or B2B eCommerce (mandatory).
Demonstrated experience in UX design, including research, design, user testing, and case studies.
Strong experience with software-oriented product lifecycles, including waterfall, agile, and sprints.
Proven ability to transform user needs and business goals into impactful design solutions.
Expertise in conducting and participating in user research, and validating design concepts with customers.
Strong collaboration skills with business, product, marketing, and IT teams.
Front-end development skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in retail eCommerce environments.
Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and user experience principles in the digital space.
