Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address any delays or issues.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast future requirements, and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the management of inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods, to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address any production-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in production planning or a similar role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with production planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards is advantageous.
