We are a quickly growing mid-size company near downtown Denver looking for an Associate Buyer with 2-5 years of experience. This role will assist the Buyer in inventory planning and management, order creation, monitoring schedules, and following through on container shipments for our projects involving some of America's largest retailers. This is a rapid paced position with frequent tight project schedules to meet.
Due to the collaborative nature of our projects, our company is in the office 40 hours per week. Candidates located outside of Colorado will be given lesser preference. Candidates that have changed career positions 3 or more times within 5 years will not be considered.
Job Responsibilities Include:
1. Review inventory planning 1x per week for large retail projects to be reviewed by Buyer
2. Place routine reorder POs and manage the POs
3. Place Drop ship POs as orders come to American Lighting for retailer project
4. Work with freight forwarders to schedule and track containers through delivery
5. Manage the schedules of projects and communicate if a project goes off schedule
6. Collaborate with our staff based in China on quality control, inspections, and timing
7. Create reports using Oracle Fusions Cloud and analyze data in Excel
