Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis on potential investment opportunities within the equity markets.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support investment theses.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, market conditions, and company-specific developments.
- Generate investment ideas and present them to the portfolio management team.
- Execute trades and manage positions in accordance with the fund's investment strategy.
- Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to refine investment strategies and optimize portfolio performance.
- Prepare and present detailed investment reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay current with market news, earnings reports, and other relevant information to inform investment decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of buyside experience in equity research or a related role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques.
- Proven track record of generating profitable investment ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with long/short equity strategies.
- Strong network within the investment community.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and make sound investment decisions under pressure.
