Our global air lines client is looking for a Digital Content Product Owner. This position will help drive the vision of the Sales and Distribution Solutions team by working with teams across the Global Sales and the enterprise on digital channel experiences. The team is seeking a passionate and experienced Digital Content Product Owner to play a pivotal role in shaping and defining future digital products. The position requires a combination of creative digital solutions, passion for online user experience, project management skills, and a high level of familiarity with digital technologies.
The Digital Content Product Owner will be working on a multi-year initiative and responsible for defining customer digital experiences, content needs and translating to technical stories and requirements. The Digital Content Product Owner is expected to discover everything necessary to make informed, strategic recommendations regarding IT deliverables. He or she will accomplish this by communicating and clarifying Sales business needs and priorities, by seeking out subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout company in order to possess an understanding of the relevant systems, capabilities, and respective technologies and objectives.
Overview: This is a 12 month 40 hours/week contract rolewith opportunities to extend. Must be ATL-based and open to 3 days/week onsite.
Responsibilities:
The Digital Content Product Owner will participate in a variety of project meetings including stakeholder meetings, requirements gathering sessions and design sessions, as needed. They will also lead required testing, troubleshooting and use case development. He or she will provide routine and frequent progress updates to Sales leaders. • Identify, define, and design digital channel experiences and features • Familiarity with UI/UX; collaborating on overall digital user experience • Discovering, documenting and analyzing business processes • Testing, troubleshooting and use case development • Partnering with stakeholders-including customers, users, IT, and vendors-to deliver the best products, on time and under budget • Tracking project progress and providing routine and frequent updates • Evaluating constrained resource implications and presenting alternative solutions
Qualifications: • High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency • 5+ years' work experience with at least 3 years of experience with technology or related digital field • Prior content management/authoring experience • Experience developing authoring solutions in a CMS - content authoring tool development • Proven product management skills demonstrated by prior experience with B2B portals/websites or digital channels and user experience design, or management of products, projects or technologies • Must possess strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in order to understand relevant processes and address business needs • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality work within time constraints • Experience with Agile methodology in project delivery or product life-cycle management • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation/story telling skills • Self-directed and highly motivated with ability to deliver on challenging goals in a fast-paced operational environment • Ability to multi-task and drive closure of open issues/concerns • Creative and innovative problem solver with project management experience • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure • Proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and project management software required
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior content management/authoring experience
Experience developing authoring solutions in a CMS - content authoring tool development
Global experience serving regional stakeholder groups and needs
Prior experience as an Agile Product Manager or Owner role
General knowledge of travel related industry segments (airlines, hotels, travel agencies)
Salesforce, specifically Salesforce Experience Cloud knowledge a plus
Experienced with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop or other visual design tools
Passion for process and customer needs
