Education Support Coordinators provide direction, monitoring and evaluation of center activities and facilities to ensure compliance with state licensing codes and Head Start Performance Standards. Education Support Coordinators supervise Teachers and Assistant/Associate Teachers for Red Oak Head Start, Red Oak Early Head Start, and Mills County Head Start.
BA/BS in Early Childhood Education, Child, Youth, & Family Studies, or Child, Adult, & Family Studies with two years supervisory and early childhood experience are required. Must have the ability to work with children and families having various cultural, economic & social backgrounds, valid drivers' license, auto liability insurance and strong written and verbal communication skills.
This is a full-time, year-round Harlan-based position. This position may be eligible for the federal student loan forgiveness program.
