As a Project Manager, you oversee all aspects of project planning, scheduling, team management, and budget control to ensure successful completion within timelines and financial limits. You also serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction while maintaining high quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout the project. Shift Information:
Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma required; college education preferred
Minimum of 10 years in the roofing industry
30-Hour OSHA Construction certification, First Aid/CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogen training
General Requirements:
Knowledgeable in administrative procedures, including word processing, file management, and office terminology
Skilled in business and management principles such as strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership
Experienced in customer service principles, including needs assessment, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation
Familiar with personnel management processes, including recruitment, training, and labor relations
Proficient in economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and data analysis
Capable in arithmetic, geometry, statistics, and their applications
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software
Adept at using logic to evaluate solutions, assess performance, and make decisions
Experienced in monitoring performance, identifying problems, and implementing solutions
Skilled in motivating teams, managing resources, and understanding system functions and impacts
Essential Functions:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, work schedules, and resource allocation
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement of materials and services
Lead, supervise, and motivate roofing teams to meet project milestones
Assign tasks clearly to ensure productivity and resolve any issues that arise during the project
Create and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
Monitor expenses and control costs to keep the project within financial limits while tracking invoices, materials, and labor
Act as the primary client contact, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct final walkthroughs to ensure satisfaction and project completion
Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with industry regulations
Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring OSHA compliance and conducting regular inspections and audits
Keep detailed records of project progress, changes, and any issues encountered
Regularly report project status, timelines, and costs to upper management
Work Environment or Working Conditions:
Involves working in varying lighting conditions, including extremely bright or inadequate lighting, and in temperatures above 90°F or below 32°F, with potential exposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levels
Includes handling contaminants, hazardous materials, or equipment.
Mistakes can have serious consequences, so strict adherence to safety procedures is essential
May involve exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings
Requires working at heights or in potentially hazardous conditions
