Job Description:
The Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in delivering timely software integration projects while providing high-quality technical support to users encountering complex challenges.
This role involves offering Tier 2 support in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment and participating in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.
Strong customer service skills are crucial, as the position requires regular interaction with internal clients.
The Systems Analyst reports directly to the Digital Site Head.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with data owners when deploying new software or software upgrades to determine IT requirements (e.g., Group Policy Objects (GPOs) or necessary system modifications).
Perform continuous analysis to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Troubleshoot, assess, and resolve incidents and service requests, ensuring they are managed within Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Escalate when necessary.
Document and create trouble tickets promptly for reported system issues, such as unavailability, slow response times, unauthorized access, missing files, or malware. Respond to and update support tickets in a timely manner.
Assist system administrators and engineers on various projects as needed
Participate in the design and development of solutions for integration projects.
Provide technical expertise during the planning, execution, management, validation and qualification process of new applications or equipment
Identify and resolve system issues; recognize common patterns and triage bugs for improvement.
Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions in line with the organization's principles, business requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Proactively monitor solutions to ensure operational stability in production environments.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Preferred Experience, Education & Qualifications:
2- year degree in computer-related field required; BS+ preferred
Outstanding problem-solving skills required
Experience in regulated industry (e.g. Pharma / Banking) highly desirable
Strong understanding of change control
CompTIA or other certifications highly desirable
ITIL / CMMI familiarity desirable
Work independently and as a team
Carry projects through to completion
Self-motivated, take initiative
Occasional after-hours / weekends required
Rotating on-call required
